The Last Train to Becoming
The last train leaves at midnight. I feel the weight of the hour pressing down on me as I hurry through the darkened streets toward our apartment. My heart pounds in my chest, a frantic drumbeat against my ribs. I have a secret, you see – a hidden part of myself that I’ve kept locked away for years. But tonight, everything changes.
I slip inside the apartment, closing the door softly behind me. The air is still and quiet, heavy with the scent of Aris’s cologne. He’s not home yet, thank the gods. I have time to prepare.
I move through the living room, past the sleek leather sofa and the glass coffee table, toward the bedroom. My footsteps are silent on the plush carpet. I push open the door and step inside, flipping on the light.
The room is a study in contrasts – Aris’s side, all clean lines and minimalist decor, and mine, a riot of color and texture. But it’s the closet that holds my secret. I walk over to it, my hand trembling slightly as I reach for the handle.
I pull open the door and step inside, breathing in the familiar scent of silk and lace. This is my sanctuary, my hidden world. Racks of delicate lingerie hang from the rods – bras and panties in shades of blush pink and ivory, garter belts and stockings in sheer black. On the shelves, rows of high heels wait, their smooth curves gleaming in the soft light.
I run my fingers over the fabric, feeling the cool slide of satin against my skin. This is who I am, who I’ve always been. But I’ve never had the courage to share this part of myself with anyone – not even Aris.
I hear the key turn in the lock, the sound loud in the quiet apartment. My heart leaps into my throat. I freeze, my hand still on the lace of a particularly lovely bra.
“Julien?” Aris’s voice calls out, warm and rich. “Are you home?”
I swallow hard, trying to calm the sudden flutter of panic in my chest. “I’m in here,” I call back, my voice trembling slightly.
I hear his footsteps on the hardwood floor, coming closer. I take a deep breath, steeling myself for what’s to come. The closet door swings open and there he is, his broad frame filling the doorway.
He’s beautiful, as always – tall and lean, with dark hair and piercing green eyes. He’s wearing a perfectly tailored suit, the fabric hugging his body like a second skin. He takes in the sight of me standing there, surrounded by lace and silk, and his eyes widen slightly.
“Julien,” he says softly, his voice filled with wonder. “What is all this?”
I feel the heat rise to my cheeks, shame washing over me. “It’s nothing,” I mumble, looking away. “Just some old clothes.”
But Aris is having none of it. He steps into the closet, his eyes roving over the racks of lingerie. “This is incredible,” he breathes, reaching out to touch a delicate lace bra. “Did you pick all of this out yourself?”
I nod, my heart pounding. “I’ve been collecting it for years,” I admit softly. “But I’ve never worn any of it outside this closet.”
Aris turns to me, his green eyes intense. “Why not?” he asks gently. “You have such incredible taste. And you would look stunning in this.”
I shake my head, tears pricking at the corners of my eyes. “I’m afraid,” I whisper. “Afraid of what people will think, what they’ll say.”
Aris takes my hand in his, his touch warm and reassuring. “To hell with what anyone else thinks,” he says fiercely. “You are beautiful, Julien. Inside and out. And you deserve to express yourself however you want.”
He looks at the clock on the wall, his eyes narrowing. “We have a few hours before the last train leaves,” he says, a slow smile spreading across his face. “What do you say we make the most of it?”
I stare at him, my heart racing. “What do you mean?” I ask, my voice barely above a whisper.
Aris grins, his eyes sparkling with mischief. “I mean, let’s get you dressed up,” he says, squeezing my hand. “Let’s show the world the real you.”
I feel a rush of fear, followed by a surge of excitement. Can I really do this? Can I really step out of this closet and into the world as my true self?
Aris seems to sense my hesitation. He pulls me close, his strong arms wrapping around me. “I’ll be with you every step of the way,” he murmurs into my hair. “I promise.”
I take a deep breath, feeling the last of my fears melt away. “Okay,” I say softly, leaning into his embrace. “Let’s do it.”
And so, as the clock ticks down to midnight, Aris and I begin our journey – a journey of self-discovery, of acceptance, of love. The last train is waiting, and we’ll be on it together, ready to face whatever comes next.
“Okay,” I say softly, leaning into his embrace. “Let’s do it.”
Aris pulls back, his eyes gleaming with excitement. “First things up, we need to pick out the perfect outfit,” he says, turning towards the racks of lingerie. “Something that makes you feel beautiful and confident.”
I nod, my heart pounding in my chest. I reach out and run my fingers over a delicate lace bra in a soft shade of pink. “I’ve always loved this one,” I admit softly. “But I’ve never had the courage to wear it.”
Aris picks up the bra, holding it up to the light. “It’s stunning,” he breathes, tracing the intricate lace pattern with his finger. “And it would look incredible on you.”
He hands me the bra and reaches for a matching pair of lace panties. “Here, put these on,” he says with a grin. “I’ll find you the perfect pair of stockings to go with them.”
I take the lingerie from him, my hands trembling slightly. I step out of my jeans and boxers, letting them pool at my feet. I slide the panties up my legs, the lace soft and cool against my skin. I reach behind my back and unhook my plain cotton bra, letting it fall to the floor. I slip my arms through the straps of the pink lace bra, adjusting the cups over my small breasts. I take a deep breath, feeling the delicate fabric hug my body like a second skin.
“Wow,” Aris breathes, his eyes wide as he takes in the sight of me. “You look incredible, Julien.”
I feel a blush rise to my cheeks, but I can’t help but smile at the admiration in his eyes. “Thank you,” I say softly, ducking my head.
“Now, for the stockings,” Aris says, holding up a pair of sheer black thigh-highs with a lace trim. “These will look perfect with that set.”
I sit down on the edge of the bed and carefully slide the stockings up my legs, smoothing them over my thighs. The lace trim tickles my skin, sending a shiver down my spine.
“Perfect,” Aris says, stepping back to admire his handiwork. “Now, let’s do your hair and makeup.”
He leads me over to the vanity table, pulling out the chair for me to sit. I sink down onto the plush cushion, my heart racing with anticipation.
Aris picks up a brush and runs it through my long, dark hair, smoothing out the tangles. “Your hair is so silky,” he murmurs, his fingers gentle against my scalp. “I’ve always loved how it feels.”
I close my eyes, leaning into his touch. “Thank you,” I whisper, feeling a warmth spread through my body at his words.
“Now, for your makeup,” Aris says, reaching for a palette of eyeshadows in shimmering shades of pink and gold. “I’m thinking a soft, romantic look to match your lingerie.”
I nod, my eyes fluttering closed as he brushes the shadow over my lids. His touch is light and sure, sweeping the color across my skin with practiced strokes. He lines my eyes with a soft brown pencil, making them look bigger and brighter. Then he coats my lashes with a volumizing mascara, making them look long and thick.
“Beautiful,” he breathes, stepping back to admire his work. “Now, for the finishing touch.”
He reaches for a tube of pink lip gloss, unscrewing the cap and dabbing a bit onto his finger. “Part your lips for me,” he says softly, his voice low and intimate.
I do as he asks, my heart pounding in my chest. He runs his finger over my lips, the sticky sweetness of the gloss clinging to my skin. I can feel the heat of his gaze on my mouth, and I wonder if he’s thinking about kissing me.
“There,” he says, stepping back with a satisfied smile. “All done.”
