The Quiet of Knots and Need
Out of the corner of my eye, I see Morgan hesitate for just a second before reaching for the hem of their t-shirt. They pull it over their head in one smooth motion, their wavy hair tousled from the movement. The flush I saw earlier has spread across their chest, a warm pink against their pale skin.
I finally turn to look at them, letting my gaze trail over their bare upper body. They’re not overly muscular, but there’s a lean strength to them, a tautness that speaks of the tension they’ve been carrying. “Jeans too,” I add, my voice low.
Morgan’s hands go to their fly immediately, fingers fumbling a little with the button. I watch as they shimmy out of the denim, leaving them in just their boxer briefs. The soft gray cotton clings to the curve of their hips, the line of their thighs.
*Beautiful.* I let the thought wash over me, warm and satisfying. They’re mine, in this moment. Mine to guide, to shape, to bring to the edge and hold there.
I turn back to the worktable, picking up the rope again. I measure out a length, my eyes tracing the path it will take over Morgan’s skin. “On the mat,” I say, nodding toward the thick foam mat laid out in the center of the floor.
Morgan pads over to it on bare feet, their movements a little less steady than usual. They lower themselves onto the mat, their eyes never leaving me. I can feel the weight of their gaze like a physical touch.
I follow them over, kneeling beside them on the mat. The foam is firm but yielding under my knees. I set the rope down beside us, the red strands bright against the dark material. “On your knees,” I murmur, my hand coming to rest on Morgan’s shoulder. “Facing me.”
They shift to obey, their movements slow and deliberate. Their shoulders are already rising and falling more evenly, their breathing starting to sync with mine. *There you go. Let me take the reins.*
I pick up the rope again, the fibers rough against my palms. I find the middle, holding it up between us. “Safeword?” I ask, my voice soft but clear.
Morgan’s eyes flick up to meet mine. “Red,” they say, their voice steady. “Yellow to pause.”
*Good.* I nod, letting the rope lower. “And what do you say if you need to stop?”
“Red,” they repeat, their gaze locked on mine.
I hold their eyes for a long moment, letting the connection settle between us. The air hums with it, with the trust and the understanding. *I’ve got you.*
Then I move, my hands coming up to cradle Morgan’s face. My thumbs brush over their cheekbones, the skin warm and smooth under my touch. I lean in, close enough that our breath mingles in the space between us. “You’re okay,” I murmur, my voice a low rumble. “I’ve got you.”
Morgan’s breath hitches, their eyelids fluttering closed for just a second. “I know,” they whisper, the words barely audible. “I know you do.”
I let my hands slide down, tracing the line of their jaw, the curve of their neck. I feel the flutter of their pulse under my fingertips, the slight tremor that runs through them at the touch. *So responsive. So ready.*
My hands keep moving, over their shoulders, down their arms. I feel the muscles tense and release under my palms, the way Morgan leans into the touch without even seeming to realize they’re doing it. *Such a good boy,* I think, the endearment warm in my mind. *Such a good boy for me.*
I let my touch linger, mapping the contours of their body, learning them anew. The flush on their chest has deepened, spreading up their neck to their ears. I watch as goosebumps rise on their skin in the wake of my touch, a physical testament to their arousal.
*You want this. You need this.* I let the thoughts flow through me, fueling my own desire. My body is responding to their reactions, to the trust in their eyes and the surrender in the line of their posture.
I shift back a little, picking up the rope again. I find the middle, letting the lengths dangle on either side. “Arms behind your back,” I say, my voice low and firm.
Morgan complies immediately, their movement a little jerky with eagerness. I watch as they settle, their wrists crossed at the small of their back, their shoulders pulled back to thrust their chest forward. *Perfect.*
I move in again, the rope held loosely in my hands. I bring the middle up to Morgan’s sternum, letting the fibers rest against their skin. “This is going to be tight,” I tell them, my voice a low murmur. “It’s going to hold you. Keep you where I want you.”
Morgan’s breath catches, a sharp inhale that tells me my words are having the desired effect. I see their throat work as they swallow, their eyes darkening with want.
*You want to be held. You want to be controlled.* I lean in closer, my lips brushing the shell of their ear. “And you’re going to take it,” I breathe, letting my lips move against their skin. “You’re going to take everything I give you.”
“Please,” Morgan whispers, the word a quiet plea. “Please, I need it.”
*I know you do.* I let the moment stretch, let the anticipation build to a fever pitch. Then I move, my hands coming up to cross the rope over their chest. The fibers bite into their skin, leaving a deep red line in their wake. Morgan’s breath hitches again, their eyes fluttering closed.
I work in silence, the only sounds in the room the soft whisper of the rope against skin and Morgan’s shaky breaths. I weave the strands over and under, building the pattern with practiced ease. The knots form under my fingers, each one a promise, a point of connection.
Morgan starts to sink into it, their body swaying a little with each pull of the rope. Their head lolls back, exposing the long line of their throat. I see the flutter of their pulse there, fast and frantic under their skin.
*That’s it. Let go.* I keep working, the rope winding around their upper arms now, pulling them back to thrust their chest forward even more. I can see the strain in their shoulders, the way their muscles stand out under their skin.
“Color?” I ask, my voice a low rummur.
Morgan’s eyelids flutter open, their eyes hazy and unfocused. “Green,” they breathe, the word a sigh. “So green.”
*Good boy.* I tighten the last knot, letting my fingers linger on the warm skin of their bicep. “Such a good boy,” I murmur, leaning in close again. “Taking it so well for me.”
Morgan whimpers, a high, needy sound that goes straight to my core. I feel my own body responding, heat pooling low in my belly. *Not yet. This is about them.*
I shift back, admiring my handiwork. The rope crisscrosses Morgan’s chest in an intricate pattern, the red strands bold against their pale skin. Their arms are pulled back, their shoulders straining, their chest thrust forward in offering.
*Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.* I let my gaze roam over them, taking in every detail. The flush on their cheeks, the way their breath catches with each inhale, the fine tremor that runs through them.
I lean in again, unable to resist. My lips find the curve of their jaw, pressing a soft kiss there. Morgan leans into it, a quiet sigh escaping them. “So good,” I breathe against their skin. “You’re doing so good for me.”
“Riley,” they whisper, their voice rough with want. “Please. More.”
*Oh, I’ll give you more.* I pull back, my hands coming to rest on their shoulders. I squeeze, my fingers digging into the tense muscles there. “I’ll give you everything you can take,” I promise, my voice low and dark. “And then I’ll give you a little more.”
Morgan shudders under my touch, their eyes drifting closed again. I see the way they lean into the pressure, seeking more. *Always so eager. Always so hungry for it.*
I let my hands slide down, over their chest, my fingers tracing the lines of the rope. I feel the way it bites into their skin, the tension it creates. *This is what they need. This is what will unlock them.*
My fingers find their nipples, already hard and peaked against the rope. I brush over them, a feather-light touch that makes Morgan gasp. “Oh, you like that?” I purr, doing it again. “You like when I touch you like this?”
“Yes,” Morgan breathes, arching into my touch. “Yes, please.”
I let out a low chuckle, the sound rumbling in my chest. “So needy,” I murmur, my fingers plucking at their nipples, giving them the pressure they crave. “So desperate for my touch.”
