The Unlikely Usurpers

*Fuck. Fuck. He’s big. Bigger than you expected. And it feels so fucking good.*

Finn stills above you, his breath coming in harsh pants. “Okay?” he grits out, his forearms trembling on either side of your head.

“Better than okay,” you assure him, canting your hips to take him deeper. “Move. Please, Finn. I need you to move.”

He groans, long and low, his hips snapping forward in response. You cry out at the sudden shock of pleasure, your body arching off the desk. Finn sets a punishing pace, his hips slapping against your ass with every deep, brutal thrust. You meet him stroke for stroke, your hands scrabbling for purchase on his sweat-slicked shoulders.

*Nothing has ever felt this good. Nothing. You’re going to combust. Spontaneously. From sheer fucking bliss.*

The room fills with the sounds of sex—harsh breathing, keening moans, the wet slap of flesh against flesh. Finn’s hand wraps around your cock again, stripping you in time with his thrusts. The dual assault is almost too much, pleasure coiling tight in the base of your spine.

“Finn,” you gasp, your head thrashing against the wood. “I’m close. So fucking close.”

“Me too,” he grunts, his hips stuttering. “Come for me, Leo. Wanna feel you come on my cock.”

His words send you hurtling over the edge. You come with a shout, your release striping your chest and stomach in hot, sticky ropes. Finn follows a moment later, his body shuddering above you as he spills into the condom.

*Holy. Shit.*

You lie there for a long moment, your breathing ragged, your body limp and sated. Finn collapses on top of you, his weight a warm, comforting pressure. You can feel his heart pounding against your chest, his breath hot against your neck.

*This. This is what you’ve been missing. This connection. This perfect, filthy, ridiculous moment.*

Finn stirs first, pressing a lazy kiss to your jaw before carefully pulling out. You hiss at the loss, your body feeling strangely empty without him. He disposes of the condom in a nearby trash can, then returns to you, his expression soft and sated.

“Hey,” he murmurs, brushing a lock of hair off your forehead.

“Hey yourself,” you reply, your voice hoarse from all the shouting.

Finn grins, his thumb tracing the curve of your smile. “That was…”

“Fucking incredible?” you supply, your own lips quirking.

“Understatement of the century,” Finn agrees, leaning down to brush a kiss to the corner of your mouth. “Think the Boss will notice the come stains on his desk?”

*Oh god. You didn’t even think about that.*

You groan, burying your face in your hands. “We are never going to live this down. We’ll be fired. Or arrested. Or both.”

“Nah,” Finn says, pulling your hands away from your face and lacing your fingers with his. “We’ll just blame it on the cleaning crew. Or the toupee. That thing’s basically a fuzzy master criminal.”

*Or you could just never come back to work. Run away together. Start a new life as erotic novelists or something.*

You let Finn pull you to your feet, your legs wobbling slightly. He keeps a steadying arm around your waist as you both gather your scattered clothes, your movements slow and lazy. The walk back to your respective desks is punctuated by soft kisses and shared grins, the fluorescent lights feeling less harsh now, more like a spotlight on your newfound bubble of intimacy.

By the time you’ve both dressed and straightened up as best you can, the first hints of dawn are starting to color the sky outside the windows. Finn takes your hand again, lacing your fingers together like it’s the most natural thing in the world. “Ready to face the music?”

*No. But with him beside you, it feels a little less daunting.*

You nod, squeezing his hand. “As I’ll ever be.”

The lobby is deserted when you step out of the elevator, the only sound the soft hum of the computers and the distant rumble of the city waking up. You walk hand-in-hand toward the main doors, the security guard blinking blearily at you as you pass.

“Long night?” he asks, his voice rough with sleep.

“You have no idea,” Finn replies, his grin sharp and satisfied.

You push open the doors, stepping out into the cool morning air. The street is quiet, the sun just starting to peek over the horizon, painting the sky in shades of pink and gold. Finn pulls you to a stop at the edge of the sidewalk, turning to face you.

“Well, Leo,” he says, his free hand coming up to cup your jaw. “Here we are. The morning after our glorious corporate coup. Any regrets?”

*Only that you didn’t do this sooner. That you wasted so much time being afraid.*

You shake your head, leaning into his touch. “Not a single one. You?”

Finn’s answer is a kiss, soft and sweet and full of promise. “Not even close,” he murmurs against your lips. “Though I am wondering one thing.”

“What’s that?”

He pulls back just enough to meet your eyes, his expression uncharacteristically serious. “Now that we’ve defiled the executive washroom and christened the Boss’s desk, where do we go from here?”

*Anywhere. Everywhere. As long as it’s together.*

You smile, your free hand coming up to rest over his heart. “I don’t know,” you admit, your voice soft. “But I’m looking forward to finding out.”

Finn’s grin returns, wider and brighter than ever. “Me too, Leo. Me too.”

He takes your hand again, his fingers warm and sure around yours. And as you start down the street together, the rising sun warming your faces, you can’t help but feel like you’ve finally found something worth fighting for. Not just a job, not just a paycheck, but a chance to be something more. Someone more.

*Watch out, world. The Unlikely Usurpers are coming. And they’re not afraid to get a little messy along the way.*
